Macaron 101 Baking Class

If you've ever wanted to learn how to make the elusive French macarons you've come to the right place!

What's involved: You'll join us for a 2-2.5 hour evening at our store (810C 16th Ave SW, Calgary), or our kitchen partner in Edmonton (8717 53 Ave NW, Edmonton) where we learn a little bit about the history of the macaron, how to properly macaronage, tips & tricks for getting the perfect shell, flavour creation, and troubleshooting (12 people).

You will sample some of our macarons & have tea from our own line of premium organic loose leaf teas. At the end of the class you will have a box of  macarons to take home (approx. 30) that we have worked together to make as a group; this allows you to bring home two flavours and different colours. We supply all materials and equipment needed.

All classes in Calgary start at 6:30 unless otherwise noted. Edmonton classes as noted.

Cancellation and date change policy: There are no refunds on classes, but if you need to change your date we require 2 weeks notice. You can book into a new date or take a class credit. If there are less than 2 weeks notice you can transfer your class to someone else or we can try and sell the spot. If we are unsuccessful in selling your spot there is no class credit.

Children: Any children from the age of 10-15 must attend the class with a parent or guardian. Both the child and adult must register for the class.

Register in person at the store or give us at call 403-457-9775.

Class availability is updated on our website every second day. For most up-to-date availability please phone us.
