Macaron 101 Baking Class
If you've ever wanted to learn how to make the elusive French macarons you've come to the right place!
What's involved: You'll join us for a 2-2.5 hour evening at our store (810C 16th Ave SW, Calgary) where we learn a little bit about the history of the macaron, how to properly macaronage, tips & tricks for getting the perfect shell, flavour creation, and troubleshooting (12 people).
You will sample some macarons & have tea from our own line of premium organic loose leaf teas. At the end of the class you will have a box of your own macarons to take home (approx. 30). We supply all materials and equipment needed.
All classes start at 6:30 unless otherwise noted.
Cost: $100 (+tax) per person. We're also happy to fit you and a group in for a private class! Private classes are $800 (+ tax) and you can have up to 12 people ($100 per pp, minimum cost is $800).
Cancellation and date change policy: There are no refunds on classes, but if you need to change your date we require 2 weeks notice. You can book into a new date or take a class credit. If there are less than 2 weeks notice you can transfer your class to someone else or we can try and sell the spot. If we are unsuccessful there is no refund.
Children: Any children from the age of 10-15 must attend the class with a parent or guardian. Both the child and adult must register for the class.
